Per un’antropologia del design

Elisabetta Di Giovanni, Michele Tiberio

Abstract

For design anthropology

In this article we intend to clarify the nature and meaning of the concept of design research and anthropology applied to design, focusing on the relationship that this discipline has with traditional sciences; in particular, we will look at anthropology with which it has a direct relationship: design research draws extensively from this science, using its methods and modifying them for its own research needs. The goal is to offer a theoretical reflection on the nature of design research, on its theoretical and practical applications, and on research methodologies.
