La costruzione del pensiero economico: Oikos Nomos

Abstract

The construction of economic thinking: Oikos Nomos

In this discussion I want to reflect on the construction of the minds of the individuals with particular attention to the economic aspects that characterize the act of the individual and their impact within the context of life. The construction of social reality and the mechanisms that govern human relations are anchored to the meanings and emotions that hold together individual and group membership through the patterns, conscious and unconscious , which develop and intertwine with each other in the daily course of action. Foulkes speaks of base matrix to mean as a process which is subjective to the individual and to the group at the same time. This matrix is that, in any human group, it generates the oikos nomos, the "good rule", which expresses and highlights the ways in which the group itself represents some crucial issues of coexistence. Among these are the forms through which to solve the so-called basic conflict. In this regard Nash (1951), in the "Game theory" shows that the basic social conflict can be resolved in four ways: lose / lose, win / lose, lose / win, win / win. These modes include, according to Nash, all possible relational forms ranging from exclusion to sharing and commonality.  These are expressions of a "rule" that if declined in the " exclusive " generates feelings , behaviors and emotions that leave no room to another , or see another enemy " predator ",  the " rule" is internalized through the win-win formula . The resulting process produces a representation of the other as "friend" and resources with which to develop positive relationships.
